So I've been fighting a sore throat since Wednesday and now it has come on full force with vengeance yesterday. My 2 best friends are down home and I was determined to party with them. The past 2 weekends' plans to party got foiled by different reasons. This weekend I wasn't going to let a little sniffle stop me. We all know how this is going to end....not well. Today I'm a pathetic puddle of miserable-ness. And either whiskey knows mommy is sick or mommy passed her cold to whiskey. Is that even possible? Can a dog catch a humans' cold? She's just been a big baby (much like me) and just sulking around and laying down all pathetic like. And she didn't eat breakfast real good this morning.
Has anyone had a problem like this. When I human is sick and then the animal catches the humans' cold?

I am knocking on wood here because I've had this weird tingle in my throat the past few days :(
ReplyDeleteI hope you get better soon! I would guess that Whiskey is just bummed because you aren't feeling well. Animals are amazing at picking up these things.
I've been told that dogs do not get the human cold virus and I've never known of one that did. More likely she is just reacting to you.
